PRE-OPENING PARTY OF THE EXHIBITION ALEXANDER FLORENSKY "PICTURES DRAWN IN GEORGIA IN 2011-2012."

"At the beginning of 2011 along with the poet Michael King of Jerusalem, I drew and published the book" Jerusalem ABC "(thanks to Misha for the great idea!)
While working on a book, in Jerusalem, I thought about the further development of this idea. I wanted to do something like a series of guides to the author's favorite cities and countries.
And before you "Tbilisi Alphabet" while working on that I think I almost learned the Georgian letters.

Alexander Florensky was born in 1960 in Leningrad.
In 1982 he graduated from the Leningrad Art-Industrial School. Vera Mukhina. In 1990, intern at the Institut des hautes etudes en arts plastiques (Paris, France).
Member of the Union of Russian Artists. One of the organizers of a group of artists "Mitka" (1985). Regularly participates in exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including Italy, Poland, Finland and France.
Illustrated over 40 books, the author of numerous illustrations in the periodicals. Author animated film "Mitkimayer" (1992), a member of the Russian and international film festivals. One of the organizers of the publishing house "Mitkilibris" (1994). In 1997 - one of the founders of the gallery "Mitka-VHUTEMAS" in St. Petersburg.

His works are in collections of the Russian Museum, Tretyakov Gallery, Pushkin Museum.Pushkin, in other museums and private collections in Russia and other countries.
